Misié Bonjou was the grandfather
He said hello to everyone on the road to the village, so people ended up calling him that: Mister Hello. The house carries his name.
Renovated in 2024: the louvred shutters and the wooden frame are original, the kitchen, the shower room and the air conditioning are new.

The hot tub facing the sunset, we spent every evening in it. The house is exactly like the photos, and being welcomed at the gate and shown around by the owner makes all the difference compared with a key box.
Very quiet, very clean, and five minutes from the village for the morning market. We came for Les Salines and stayed at the house half the time.
Nothing to fault with the house, the air conditioning in the bedrooms works well and the wifi holds up. The last bend before the gate is narrow, take a small car or drive slowly.
We booked by writing directly, got an answer the same evening with the exact price, and no bad surprise on arrival. We will be back, for a full week this time.

Before you book
Do I need a car?
Yes, you need one in the south of the island. Parking is private and on the property. We can point you to a local rental company if you have not booked one yet.
How does arrival work?
We welcome you in person, show you around the house and hand you the keys. From 3 pm, and we adjust to your flight if you arrive later.
Is the hot tub really private?
Yes, it is shared with no one. It is heated all year round, checked between stays, and towels are provided.
Is there wifi and air conditioning?
Fibre wifi throughout the house, and air conditioning in both bedrooms. The living room has fans and a cross breeze.
Can we come with a baby or a pet?
Yes to both. Travel cot and high chair on request, at no extra cost. For a pet, just let us know when you book.
What if I cancel?
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival, with the deposit refunded in full. Between 30 and 7 days, the deposit is kept. Less than 7 days before, the full stay is due.
